We are a family of 4 members, Eric, Laurence, Swana 17 years old and Tilio 15 years old, and we made the choice to settle in this beautiful region of Black Périgord, in Sarlat la Canéda in January 2018.
We lived in Bouaye near Nantes and we dreamed for years to acquire a campsite in the region.
But before we landed in the Périgord Noir, we started as a family with children and dogs, a two-year journey on the American continent from Quebec to Ecuador.
In fact, in September 2011, we bought a Dodge pickup and a "fifth wheel" (American trailer with slides) in Quebec, 11 meters long, in order to travel in optimal conditions and to taste the life of globe trotter or the unknown, the meetings and the wonder were the engines of our expedition.
Indeed, we feasted for two years, and crossed many countries like the USA, Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia and Ecuador, an adventure unprecedented and awesome waiting for us.
Then return to France in June 2013 where we settled in the hinterland of Nice, a few km from St Paul de Vence, at the Colle sur Loup in a campsite for a year, surrounded by a beautiful river "the wolf" and we had to acclimatize to sedentary life and those in a mobile home. After two years of life in a caravan this one seemed huge.
Then return to Bouaye where we launched our project after selling the house and here we are in this beautiful village of 23 chalets nestled on the heights of Sarlat with a breathtaking view of this medieval town and steeped in history. 800 meters and you are at the heart of the historic center of Sarlat.
You can relax and eat ice cream on the couch near our pool area by watching your child play in the nearby paddling pool.Sun loungers are at your disposal around it, a dining room with a perigourdin menu, a snack service including homemade burgers among others can be served on the covered terrace.
A playground for children, weight machines, a football table, a billiard table, a boules pitch are waiting for you to spend evenings with friends in good mood and relaxation.
We serve on order breakfasts: the continental 7 euros or gourmet 10 euros (with sweet salty terroir products), a bar and beer to cool you down, and board games are available in this room.
The wifi is distributed everywhere in the village.

We offer continental breakfasts at 7 euros, with a squeezed orange juice, a hot drink, pastries, jam, butter ... or the gourmand at 10 euros which is composed of a hot drink, cold cuts, cheese of the region, fruit salad, Viennese pastries ... very hearty!
